WDC設計晚會(Design GALA)是一場表彰國內外設計師的頒獎盛會，
將頒發臺北設計獎、金點設計獎等國內大型設計獎項，
以及國際工業設計協會Icsid的世界設計影響力獎
(World Design Impact Prize)。
同時也將規劃設計師星光大道、特色餐宴、表演活動，
從服裝、視覺、味覺、聽覺展現台灣設計特色及充沛能量。
其中World Design Impact Prize為世界設計之都WDC之主要推廣活動之一，
是國際工業設計協會理事會Icsid所辦理兩年一次的評選，
其競賽重點在以設計為工具，獎勵利用設計力提升社會、
文化和經濟生活方面突出成積之設計影響力大獎。
The Prize seeks to increase awareness of industrial design
driven projects that are making a positive impact on our social,
economic, cultural and/or environmental quality of life.
The Prize creates an exciting opportunity for finalists to
present their work to the Icsid Membership, representing
167 organisations across six continents. Through the Prize,
Icsid aims to bring attention to tangible examples of social
impact industrial design that will help shape the future of
the profession and create a better world through design.
